Functions
Our department is primarily responsible for all ICT-related projects at the Institute. We manage systems, data, network administration, and computer laboratory maintenance. We provide guidance on technology decision-making through effective ICT governance to ensure alignment with the latest technologies.
In addition to our administrative roles, we offer level 1 end-user technical support to staff and students. We have implemented a Management Information System (MIS) to automate functions in various departments, including registry, examinations, procurement, accounts, library, and human resources. Our communication channels have been enhanced with an E-Mail System, Website System, Students’ Portal, and SMS Portal.
Currently, we have six ICT training laboratories equipped with over 100 desktop computers. Our Jitume lab, with 100 computers, is used for digital training and online work. We have also introduced SMART Board Technology to enhance classroom experiences. I am honored to lead a department with highly motivated and dedicated personnel. We are committed to the vision upon which the department was founded, continually adding value to our stakeholders and society in line with our quality policy.
